This camp is for the younger kids. Find out what it's like to be a farm kid. Feed the animals, play in the hay barn, ride and take care of ponies and much more!
Want your kids to know what it's like growing up on a farm? Then this camp is for you! We grow veggies, ride ponies, catch crayfish in the stream and just get dirty! Kids learn what it's like to just play and not be on a schedule.
(Beginners welcome) Are you ready to learn more about hunter shows or ready to go to your first show? This camp is geared towards the aspiring hunter show rider and will feature a real horse show on Friday in which the camp students can compete. Along with daily lessons, we teach basic horsemanship, how to prepare for a horse show, and everything that goes into it, and general horse knowledge. We work hard, but we play hard too! Basic horsemanship skills are encouraged but not required for this camp. Ages 6-17
Eventing Camp follows Olney's recognized event so courses will be set. This camp is for those kids interested in learning more about the sport of eventing or advancing their eventing skills. The camp will focus on skills needed for each phase of eventing (dressage, cross country, and show jumping), with an emphasis on competitive skills, rules, etiquette, and horsemanship , as well as what to expect at your first event. No eventing experience required, however, riders should be comfortable jumping small jumps. This is not for riders who have never jumped.
